Jack Rowley is regarded as one of the greatest forwards in Manchester United’s history. Nicknamed "The Gunner" for his powerful and accurate shots, Rowley played for United from 1937 to 1955, scoring 211 goals in 424 appearances. His goal-scoring prowess made him a vital figure during the early years of Sir Matt Busby’s management, helping United secure their first major post-war honors.
