Biography
Denis Law is one of the greatest footballers in Manchester United history and widely regarded as one of the best forwards of his era. Known for his goal-scoring ability, flair, and charisma, Law earned the nickname "The King" during his time at Old Trafford. Law played for Manchester United from 1962 to 1973, scoring 237 goals in 404 appearances, making him the club's second-highest goal-scorer of all time. He formed part of United's famous "Holy Trinity" alongside George Best and Bobby Charlton.
In 1964, Law won the prestigious Ballon d'Or, becoming the only Scottish player to do so. He helped Manchester United win two First Division titles and was instrumental in the club's success during the 1960s. Law's contributions laid the foundation for United's European Cup triumph in 1968, although injury kept him out of the final.
On the international stage, Law earned 55 caps for Scotland, scoring 30 goals, and remains one of the country's top goal-scorers. He is a football icon, remembered for his passion, flair, and incredible goal-scoring record.
