Early Career and Move to Manchester United

He made his debut 25/08/1973 v Arsenal at Highbury during a 0-3 loss, He was signed by Tommy Docherty, who was rebuilding the United squad after the club’s relegation from the First Division in 1974. Career at Manchester United (1973–1977)
