Gary Pallister 34' is sent off after he and Bolton's no9 Nathan Blake square up to each other twice, keeping his arms by his side before Blake strikes him, Pallister fully expects Blake to receive his marching orders but referee Paul Durkin sends both players off. The red card was later overturned after Durkin admitted his mistake ruling that Pallister should only have had a yellow card for "adopting an aggressive attitude"
