Club Career
Davies began his career with Caernarfon Town before moving to Wrexham in 1960. His rise to prominence came after signing for Bolton Wanderers in 1962, where he regularly scored goals making over 240 appearances before a successful move to Newcastle United where he was part of the Geordies Inter-Cities Fairs Cup-winning team of 1969. Davies continued his football journey moving to Manchester City, following his stint at Old Trafford, Davies went on to play for Blackpool, a short loan spell at Crystal Palace, Stockport County, Crewe Alexandra, Bangor City in his native Wales before finishing his playing days with Cape Town City in South Africa.
