Trevor Anderson, born on May 3, 1951, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is a former professional footballer known for his role as a winger. He began his career with Portadown before signing with Manchester United for £10,000 in October 1972. During his tenure at United, Anderson made 19 league appearances scoring twice once v Leeds United during the 1972-73 season & another a year later v Ipswich Town in 1973-74 season.

Unsettled in Manchester in November 1974, Anderson transferred to Swindon Town, where he made an immediate impact by scoring the winning goal on his debut against Chesterfield. He became Swindon's top scorer for the 1975–76 season, netting 15 goals.

In December 1977, Anderson joined Peterborough United for £20,000, contributing to the team's near-promotion to the second tier of the Football League in the 1977–78 season. He made 58 appearances and scored seven goals for Peterborough.

Internationally, Anderson earned 22 caps for Northern Ireland, debuting against Cyprus in 1973 and scoring twice in that match. He continued to represent his country while playing for Swindon Town.

After retiring from playing, Anderson transitioned into coaching and management, including a stint as manager of Linfield.
