Fábio Pereira Da Silva is a Brazilian left-back known for his dynamic play and technical skill. Born on July 9, 1990, in Petrópolis, Brazil, Fábio joined Manchester United in 2008 with his twin brother, Rafael, after being scouted at Fluminense. Under Sir Alex Ferguson, Fábio’s defensive abilities and versatility were utilized across both flanks. He contributed to United’s 2008-09 League Cup victory, and in 2010-11, he was part of the squad that won the Premier League title, often filling in for established defenders due to his adaptability.

Fábio’s time at Old Trafford was marked by both moments of brilliance and challenges with injuries. Notably, he played in the 2011 UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona, an indicator of Ferguson’s trust in his defensive capabilities. Although he displayed potential, injuries and competition limited his appearances, leading to a season-long loan with Queens Park Rangers in 2012-13.

In 2014, Fábio moved to Cardiff City for more playing time. During his three-year stint, he was a consistent starter and fan favorite for his work rate and passion, contributing to Cardiff’s efforts to establish themselves in the Premier League and the Championship. In 2016, he joined Middlesbrough, where he remained a steady presence until 2018, when he transferred to Nantes in France's Ligue 1. His time at Nantes allowed him to experience European football at a new level, showcasing his adaptability in a different tactical environment.

Internationally, Fábio represented Brazil at the 2007 U17 World Cup and received a senior call-up in 2011. Known for his work ethic, versatility, and passion for the game, Fábio remains respected among fans for his contributions across clubs, particularly his dedication during his years at Manchester Unitd. .Fabio is the twin brother of Rafa l da Silva. They are the 11th set of brothers to play for Manchester United.
