Which Manchester United players have won the Ballon d'Or?

Only four Manchester United players have won the Ballon d'Or since its inception in 1956: Denis Law, Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Denis Law - Ballon d'Or Winner 1964

Denis Law

On 22 December 1964, Denis Law, the King of the Stretford End, became the first Scotsman to win the Ballon d'Or. He collected 61 points to finish ahead of Inter Milan's Spanish midfielder Luis Suárez, who received 43 points, while Real Madrid's Amancio placed third on 38 points.

On 27 December 1966, Sir Bobby Charlton won the Ballon d'Or with 81 points. He edged out the great Eusebio of Benfica, who finished just one point behind on 80, while Bayern Munich's Franz Beckenbauer took third place with 59 points.

George Best - Ballon d'Or Winner 1968
	On 24 December 1968, George Best became the first Northern Irishman to win the Ballon d'Or. He finished on 61 points, ahead of his Manchester United team-mate Sir Bobby Charlton on 53 points, while Red Star Belgrade's Dragan Džajić came third with 46 points.
Cristiano Ronaldo - Ballon d'Or Winner 2008
	On 2 December 2008, Cristiano Ronaldo won the first of his five Ballon d'Or awards. The Manchester United star amassed 446 points, finishing comfortably ahead of Lionel Messi on 281 points, Fernando Torres on 179 and Iker Casillas on 133.
