The Players We (Man Utd) Can Count On For The Future.

This is perhaps one of the toughest periods to be a Manchester United fan. The club has been going around in cycles in the last ten years, with six managers in the post-Fergie era all struggling to take the Red Devils back to the helm of English and European football. However, fans have come to appreciate the managers after they left once they understood the environment in which they were working.

For example, Jose Mourinho claimed that his second finish with United in the 2017-18 season was his best performance as a manager. At the time, no one really understood what the Special One was talking about. Flash forward. Ralf Ragnick made a statement that has become popular among United fans long after he was gone. Look at what the German tactician said about the challenges at United: “It’s not enough to do some minor cosmetic things. In medicine, you would say that this is an operation of the open heart.” – Ralf Ragnick, former United interim manager. Many football commentators around the globe, including sports wagering fans, have come to agree with Ragnick’s sentiments. “My opinion is the club should try to find future top players and try to develop them.” – Ragnick. The names we cover in this article will be based on Ragnick’s advice. Let’s examine youthful players in the current Manchester United setup that fans can count on for the future:

Kobbie Mainoo
Age: 18
Position: Midfield
Kobbie Mainoo has introduced himself to the football world in style in his breakout season. The youngster has excelled after returning from injury and established himself as an important player for Erik ten Han. Some of his key attributes that have mesmerized football fans include his composure on the ball and silky passing.
However, he still has a lot of room for improvement, and the current coach has a reputation for molding youngsters into established professionals. United fans and top management will hope that Ten Hag can develop Mainoo to his full potential.

Rasmus Hojlund
Age: 21
Position: Striker
Rasmus Hojlund’s signing was a sign that the club had revised their transfer policy from going for established players to getting the best young talent. While his initial days at Old Trafford were hampered by injuries and a lack of goals, the Denmark international found his form.
He started scoring goals for United and even clinched the Player of the Month award for February 2024. At the moment, he is out injured, but his commitment on the football pitch shows that he wants to play for the badge. It is such passionate and hardworking players that can carry the massive demands of being a United player.

Alejandro Garnacho
Age: 19
Position: Winger
All great Manchester United teams have had one or two flair players who add color to the game. Alejandro Garnacho is the future flair player for United. The Argentine has established himself as a starter in Ten Hag’s team, playing on the right and left wing.
The overhead goal he scored against Everton is already a contender for the goal of the season. He has also shown that he can bring the crowd into the game with his trickery and ability to score important goals for the team.
