Can MUFC Win The Upcoming Premier League Season?

The new Premier League season has started recently, with teams beginning to rack up victories, losses, and points. It is way too early in the season to do a meaningful football analysis of the odds and ends of the tournament - but with two matches behind the Red Devils (one of them a win, another one a draw) we can already begin to see how things are looking out for the team.

Additions
We have two newcomers who made their debut at Old Trafford this season: 28-year-old Frenchman Raphaël Varane and 21-year-old Englishman Jadon Sancho, freshly lured over to Manchester from Dortmund, Germany.
Varane has been described by his youth coach as a “first-class” player who is season both in the tactics and the technicalities of football. Often compared to Real Madrid legend Fernando Hierro due to his technique, he has the potential to be even better than him due to his strength and speed.
Varane spent a decade with Real Madrid and did great there, netting more than 300 apps and winning more than a dozen honours, including three La Liga titles. Playing for France, he was part of the country’s FIFA World Cup squad in 2014 and 2018 - three years ago, he played in all the country’s matches and helped France secure the title.
Sancho was signed by Borussia Dortmund right from Manchester City’s youth academy in 2017. His time in Dortmund made him shine, with over 100 league games and three dozen goals scored in his four seasons there.

Pogba
Pogba received his share of scrutiny recently - but since the beginning of the new season, he seems to have returned to form. In the Red Devils’ recent match against Southampton, he did great, breaking a Premier League record of providing five assists in just two games.
As for the rumours about his departure, he seems determined to win with United once more. A new contract is still in the works, making his future at Old Trafford uncertain - but he is visibly enjoying himself, and he wants to contribute. Until a new deal is reached, his future at the club remains in question - but his contributions to its success are certainly welcome.

Can Manchester United win the title this season?
The current Manchester United squad consists of players who do want to be with the team. The additions above are certainly welcome, helping the team perform great on the turf. And Pogba’s impressive return to form is also a great sign.
The team will certainly miss Rashford who recently underwent surgery due to his shoulder injury. His recovery will last at least until October. Hopefully, his recovery will be quick - and the addition of Sancho to the squad will at least in part compensate for him missing.
