Conference Highlights |
|
 |
"People make a story
about us being undefeated, but we've thrown points
away,"
"Last week we stole one, so maybe that balances
itself out.
"But we are still angry at ourselves at losing late
goals. We have got this great record of scoring late
goals, but we have suffered from it on the opposite
side this season
ON WAYNE ROONEY
"I don't think he'll start tomorrow," "Maybe he
will reach the bench. But he will certainly play on
Wednesday against Rangers |
 |
Norman
Whiteside talking to skysports.com
"I go to all of the games
at Old Trafford and last year he was a different
class," Whiteside told skysports.com.
"He had problems in his private life over the summer
and he had a poor World Cup, but all I'm waiting for
is for him to score a couple of goals at Old
Trafford and the crowd will get behind him again.
That will set his career off again.
"He's been injured, so we're waiting for him to
start his season, basically and I think he will.
"Every time I go to Old Trafford I'm waiting for him
to turn in a top performance, score a couple of
goals and shut people up. I think he has got the
ability to do that, there's no doubt about it. You
can't be a top-class player and lose it overnight.
"I know he hasn't really started this season
properly, but he has got it in his armoury to bounce
back." |
