On
injury's
"We’re
in a much better position injury-wise than we were last
week,” Ryan, Rafa and Jonny are all back training and
looking nice and fresh.
On Owen Hargreaves
“It was great to see Owen Hargreaves makes his comeback [for
the Reserves] on Thursday night as well – it’s a big boost
for him and we’re delighted to have him back.
“Being out of the game for a long time is very difficult.
We’ve experienced it with Gary Neville and he’s shown that
you can come back. Owen has the advantage of being a younger
man so hopefully he’s now available for a continued period.
“I still think he’ll need a couple more games for the
Reserves, but after that he’ll be back in the first team
squad and he's a good player to have back at this stage of
the season.”
Owen Hargreaves -
"It was lovely to be back in a team
environment. It's been about 16 months, I think, while I've
been having surgery and individual rehab, so having
team-mates around you, getting used to playing on a bigger
pitch and having opponents was great. It's been a very long
time and it was great to do that first step"
Ji
Sung Park - "We are
looking forward to the game against Liverpool. You can feel
the atmosphere is different for a game against Liverpool
than for other games," "You know the history and the
rivalry. "There have been some great games between the
two teams and we lost at Anfield earlier this season so
there is an element of revenge.
"But we are ready to play against them and this time I hope
we show our strength."
Darren
Fletcher - "We don’t really like talking about revenge,
but the recent results have been hard to take for both the
players and the fans," "We need to show we’ve learnt our
lesson from last year and we’re all desperate to win for
everyone connected to the club.
