Pre
Match Press Conference Highlights |
|
On
Berbatov
"I still don't think Dimitar is quite ready for the game at
the moment," said the manager at his pre-match press
conference.
"He'll be on the bench and may play some of the match, but
he's not ready to start. Other than that everyone is okay."
On Ji
Sung Park
Ji will play on
Sunday,"
On his selection
"I've still to choose my team, but I will make changes [from Thursday] and
freshen things up because I have to consider the games we
have back home.
On Quito
"I'm very pleased that we're in the final, but we will be
facing a stern test, as Liga de Quito are very strong
defensively," said the Scot.
"My assistant Mick Phelan and I saw a video of their
semi-final against Pachuca and also had them watched by a
scout. Quito are a typically South American side - solid at
the back and dangerous in front of goal.
"It will certainly be anything but an easy match, it is the
final of the Club World Cup so you can't expect an easy
ride." |
