Pre
Match Press Conference Highlights |
On
Rio Ferdinand
"We would like to have better news on Rio Ferdinand.
"It is one of those calf niggles that usually take 10 days
to two weeks.
"Other than his work in the gymnasium he is not training at
the moment but he should be fit for next Sunday's game at
Hull and I am sure he will be available for the (Champions
League) final.
On the midweek game @ Wigan.
"I will freshen up the team from Wednesday because it
was a really gruelling game on a very heavy pitch."
On the 1 point required
“We’ve just got to concentrate on winning the league and
try to do that in our own way. Going for a point is always a
dangerous game to play when that’s all you need, we must try
and go for the win.” |
