 Pre Match Press Conference Highlights

On League experience
“The one thing that is inevitable is that the league is full of shocks,” he said at his press conference on Friday. “We’ve experienced it before, we’ve lost leagues in the past when we thought we were in a great position.

“We’ve lost the league on the last game of the season when we should have won it, and we’ve won leagues on the last game. What it tells you is that football is there to kick you in the teeth. So the best way to handle that from our perspective is not to get carried away, and not make predictions about the outcome of the league. By doing that we can concentrate on each game as it comes along and treat it seriously.”

On Nani & Evra
"Nani and Evra are both training with the first team," said the boss, "and Wayne will join us on Monday."

On Vidic
Nemanja got a knock in training on Thursday, hopefully he’ll be all right,” said the boss. “He missed training on Friday but we’re hoping he’ll be OK."

ON Owen Hargreaves
"It was completely successful and better than the last one," said Sir Alex. "The last operation was more difficult, but this was a more clean-cut problem. He will certainly be ready for the start of next season."

Score Prediction
Under no illusion that this will be easy against a decent Everton side but home field advantage will be the key here as United try to build on their momentum gathering run for the title, Everton's record is poor at Old Trafford & the Reds have won a mammoth 25 games out of 33 available in the Premiership.

2-0 to United.
