Ryan Giggs & his new contract
“If anyone deserves a new contract then it’s Ryan Giggs,”
says United's assistant manager. “He’s been a magnificent
servant to the game and to United. He’s very happy with the
deal and we’re very happy to have him along. His form is
incredible, he’s training exceptionally well, and I think
he’s enjoying the game more than ever.
On Evans, Evra & Ferdinand
There are a couple of days to go before the game yet, but
Jonny Evans and Patrice Evra are training and they’re OK,"
Rio came in on Thursday. He felt a bit better even though he
didn’t train, but we hope he’ll get some training today
(Friday). He should be OK."
On Wayne Rooney
We’re still assessing Wayne," he said. "He’s done a little
bit of work but we’re not going to rush him. We have some
big games coming up, so we’ll ease him back in, but do it as
