EVRA STOUTLY defends teammate henry

In true Patrice Evra fashion, United's left back has leapt to the defence of his International team mate in the wake of the Hand of Frog scandal.

Talking to L'Equipe, part of the French Media Evra said "Titi (Henry) does not deserve this. Leave him in peace. Who made the mistake? The referee".

The diminutive Evra once jokingly branded the same size as the Sir Matt Busby Player of the year awards statue by Cristiano Ronaldo, added that if Henry had instead of using basketball measured control gone to the referee to indeed inform the referee of his misdemeanour Evra said "Frankly, had he done that, I would have told to him, Titi, you betrayed us?,".

Finishing off in humorous fashion Left back Pat said "I'll replay the game whenever you want - on the PlayStation!"
