SAT ON YOUR PERCH, THE RACE FOR NUMBER 19.

Thursday morning after Spurs drew 3-3 with Arsenal in a thrilling game of football, Manchester United are top of the Premiership League table with only 5 games remaining requiring 10 more points from 5 games left (due to the fact we play Chelsea & Arsenal) to claim their record 19th top flight championship.

Arsenal have now slipped into third behind Chelsea on 64 points with an inferior goal difference of two.

Both Arsenal & Chelsea trail Manchester United by 6 points and indeed Manchester United do have to play Arsenal at the Emirates & Chelsea at Old Trafford in the coming weeks.

Manchester United have Everton, Chelsea & Blackpool left to play at Old Trafford, combined with away ties at Arsenal & Blackburn.

Chelsea have West Ham United, Spurs & Newcastle at Stamford Bridge & away trips to Old Trafford & finally to Goodison Park on the last day of the season against Everton.

Arsenal play away to Bolton, Stoke City & Fulham and have home ties against Manchester United & Aston Villa.
