All Time Manchester
united Single Season Goalscoring Records

With
Wayne Rooney's wonderful season set to continue tomorrow
after SAF confirmed the England striker was fit,
mufcinfo.com compiled a list of record goalscorers for
Manchester United in the League & All competitions to
see how our Wazza fits in with his 33 goals so far this
term.
Already 7th in the Single
Season League Goals chart with 26 league strikes,
Rooney also sits 7th in the Overall Total Season
Goals on 33, one more goal would see him better such
a United great as the Smiling Executioner Tommy Taylor
who netted 34 times for the Reds in 1956/57 having made
45 appearances.
Rooney hopefully will then
surge toward the top five with Denis Law (record holder
with 46 goals 42 games) & Ruud Van Nistlerooy 44 goals,
52 games occupying four of the available 5 slots,
leaving Cristiano Ronaldo and his haul of 42 goals in 49
appearances in the 2007/08 season taking the final but
third position in the top five.
We here, as well as the
millions world wide wish Wazza the best of luck.
A
Top Ten listing of single season League & overall total season
goals.
